Going Green-Direct to the turnstile via smart phone

Orange City, FL Jan 15 2013- ABP, the leading provider for Point of Sale in the Guest Services and Timeshare industries announces the release of their integration with the SeaWorld ezTicket Web Portal. Beth Griffin, CEO of ABP, feels this particular release is the most exciting yet as it provide resellers the ability to send guests to the park via consumer’s smartphone. This integration will be used for all of SeaWorld's Parks & Entertainment venues.

"With one in every five people owning a smart phone worldwide (According to Business Insider), it just made sense to utilize this technology where both the consumer and business wins. We at ABP are about win-win relationships and feel that we have captured just that with our latest integrations."- says Beth Griffin

The coolest thing about this latest release is in its simplicity with the user interface (UI). The UI flows seamlessly with the operator asking the guest if they would like the ticket printed, emailed, or both. With just a few clicks the guest no longer is burdened with tracking tickets and paper, they have it all right there at their fingertips. It started with an incredible brainstorming session that asked a very simple question "Can the theme parks scan barcodes from smart phones?" With elaborate notes from the brainstorming session the team went to work leading to a field trip to test this exciting new development. The result was surprisingly anticlimactic, as when the phones were scanned direct at the turnstile…It simply worked! At the time of this release and according to SeaWorld reps, ABP is not only the first but only third party technology partner to send guests to their parks via smart phone.

With the added ability to capture email addresses. Retailers will now be able to create email marketing campaigns, but it has to start with building the list. “I have always felt the need and importance of a Point of Sale to do more than track numbers and statistics of post-sale activities. Why not harness the POS technology to help with the generation of new sales?!
This exciting new development will put tools into the hands of ticket retailers to drive traffic to the door like never before." says Bryan Griffin, Director of Business Development for ABP. The key is reaching out to customers at the Point of Sale through technology without interrupting the sales flow or impacting the speed of service. The reality is, if the software is too clunky or cumbersome, the operators simply won’t use it.

With the understanding of the market shift away from vouchers and more and more theme parks offering web portals to retailers who resell their tickets, ABP is offering the market innovative technology by integrating Point of Sale software with theme parks for the guest service and timeshare industry. With a long, rich history in the industry, ABP combines the understanding of unique business challenges such as gifting in all of its many variations with smart technology that will add value to the bottom line. Part of the appeal of incorporating better technology at the POS is the friendliness, to both users and the environment.
With today' tech savvy and environmentally conscience consumers, reducing the use of paper and ink not only saves time and money, going green will gain respect and support of this new era of consumers.

"I've been in the industry for over 12 years and I have say we are extremely proud of this latest release, streamlining the sales and marketing process at the POS, while going green with smart technology is big win for everyone.” claims Beth Griffin. “The title alone grabs you and demands to be read!"
